The Goddess and the Bull: A Study in Minoan-Mycenaean Mythology by Helen Benigni (to be published by the University Press of America in October of 2007).

This is the second book is a combination of mythology with archeoastronomy. We have translated the Druid calendar from Coligny, France, which has given us a basis for comparative studies in mythology as it matches what is left of the Greek calendar as well as the information on the stones, especially Stonehenge. The first book identifies the goddesses and gods of the year cycle of the moon, the sun and the stars, and this new book identifies the Goddess of the Nineteen Year Cycle of the Moon. This current research has enabled us to identify the almost monotheistic Goddess of the Mediterranean and Europe from the Bronze Age through Her transformation into the Iron Age.
